The Blues Society of the Ozarks is based in Springfield Missouri and principally serves the Southwest Missouri region. Our members live in mostly Missouri, Arkansas, and Oklahoma. We are a not-for-profit, tax-exempt organization, affiliated with the Blues Foundation. Our goals are to:

• encourage performance of the blues, a unique and original American music, at clubs, at festivals, and on radio;
• provide a forum in the Ozarks area where people can share their common appreciation and love of the blues; and
• educate people in the appreciation of blues
